A warm welcome to my Learning (B)Log for the course “Context and Narrative”. This page is primarily for Assessors and Tutors at the Open College of the Arts (OCA), but don’t let that put you off if you’ve just happened to stumble across it. Please feel free to peruse the site, make comments and perhaps even follow me on my learning journey.
A little about the site: Each assignment, accompanied by a Self Assessment can be found through the menu options at the top of the page. My tutors feedback, along with my reflection, planning processes and research can be found under the “Part # Assignment” categories to the left, along with the remaining coursework.
A little about me: My name is Adam Newsome and I’m studying for a BA (Hons) in Photography with OCA. (Student number 512403). This is my second module on the Degree Pathway, having completed “Art of Photography” in late 2014. I’m a thirty something, a full time professional soldier, a husband and a dad. I originally hail from Yorkshire, but am currently living and working in Essex. Photography is very much a hobby and a passion at the moment, but I hope to make a career of it, on completion of my studies.
Whilst your here, I hope you enjoy looking at my work as much I did making it.
